Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Review construction project drawings and specs.
• Produce itemized labor and material takeoffs, using Estimating Edge tools, to generate project estimates with a defined scope of work.
• Meet internal and external timelines with accuracy.
• Data-driven bid strategies, decision making, and risks assessment.
• Communicate provisions made to mitigate documentation gaps and scope concerns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and company goals.
Experience Required:
Qualifications:
• Experienced Position: Proven history of estimating in the commercial painting/construction industry, managing deadlines, while maintaining high-quality output.
• Entry-Level Position: Ability to read construction drawings and specs with internal motivation to learn (IE CAD / BIM operator, field tech with strong computer skills, or strong data analyst skills looking to change your career path).
• Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to various locations for walk though meetings and photos and measurement
