OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour Courses 4/3/2020 - 6/30/2020

The Syracuse Builders Exchange (“SBE”) in-person classes have been suspended during the pandemic response, but our members continue to need access to safety and health training, particularly OSHA 10-hour classes required for some essential projects. We have seen many people who paid for and completed what they thought was a legitimate online 10-hour course that would earn them an OSHA Outreach program card only to discover that was not the case. SBE is pleased to announce that United Rentals offers high quality, bona fide OSHA 10-hour classes online and we are happy to let SBE members know you will have access to this online training at a 10% discount off the regular rate.

United Rentals' site is unitedacademy.ur.com. At the home page, please select the "OSHA Training" link, then select the class you are interested in. The 10- and 30-hours are available with Voice Authentication; this feature is required by the Dept. of Buildings for work in New York City. United Rentals will offer 10% off the listed course price for SBE members for these and any of their other classes. Please forward all training requests to EASTUA@ur.com to ensure the 10% discount is applied.

We are pleased to inform you we have set up a Zoom Class with our OSHA Instructor, Lisa Brownson of Safety Source Consultants and she will be conducting the Scaffold User Safety class virtually for SBE members. This session is free for SBE Member Firms.

We would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the virtual training session on June 3, 2020- 8:00am -12:00pm. All participants will need to have the Zoom app downloaded to their device with video and audio capability in order to attend. No attendees will be allowed to participate without video and audio.

All attendees will need to provide their specific email address and all will need to be on a separate computer. Group viewings are not allowed. Once all email addresses have been received, sign-in instructions will follow.

We are pleased to inform you we have set up a Zoom Class with our DEC Instructor, Mark Burger of Onondaga County Soil & Water Conservation District and he will be conducting the 4-Hour Erosion & Sediment Control course virtually for SBE members.

Cost - $100.00 per person - we accept Checks made payable to Syracuse Builders Exchange and also accept Credit Cards*
